What’s Happening Around the USA

The @kc_riichi club set up at a convention this weekend and had a great time introducing new players to our favorite game. Conventions can be a great way for your club to meet new potential players in the community. Do you regularly attend or set up games at cons?

A great weekend of mahjong was held in Philadelphia with @philly_mahjawn hosting their tournament. Congratulations to all who participated, including Austin from @nycriichinomi who took 1st place!

The @indianapolisriichimahjong club recently hosted a lessons session for their community at local public library. These sessions have been successful in growing their mahjong community and they’ve been asked to come back and offer the session again!

The Berkeley Open was hosted this weekend and congratulations are in order to Fangming from @pacificmahjongleague on winning 1st place! Rachel from the same club took second and Edward from @philly_mahjawn placed 3rd. Congrats to everyone on a great weekend of mahjong!
